Saturna Island is located in the Southern Gulf Island chain. It is approximately midway between the mainland and Vancouver Island. To reach Saturna, you must fly, ferry, kayak, or take a private boat.
BC Ferries supports vehicle and walk-on passengers. Ferry schedules can be found at www.bcferries.com.
Harbour Air float-plane information can be found at www.harbour-air.com.
Seair Seaplanes information can be found at www.seairseaplanes.com.
Kenmore Air float-plane information can be found at www.kenmoreair.com.
Once you have reached Saturna Island, Breezy Bay Bed & Breakfast is easy to find.
The house is a short distance from Lyall Harbour, which is where BC Ferries docks. Drive off the ferry and onto East Point Road. Take your second right onto Payne Road. Continue, keeping right, about 1.5km until you reach the red farm gate on the left which is at the bottom of the hill. If the gate is closed, you will need to open it and close it behind you (so the cows don’t get out). Follow the driveway to the end, where you will find a parking area.
If you are arriving by kayak or canoe, you will pull into Breezy Bay beach and walk up the hill to the house.
